Hammond Place Condominiums
Frederick H. Harrison
Fred and his wife have lived at Hammond Place for nine years. When they first
began looking for a condominium, Hammond Place was first on their list. They
were very impressed by the property layout, landscaping and luckily a perfect unit
appeared on the market.! They are committed to preserving their own investment
and the equity of all unit owners by helping to develop and execute a plan that will
ensure the long-term fiscal health of Hammond Place.
Fred's professional experience is in communications for the printing and
publishing industry, but he became a public school teacher in 2001 when he and
his wife moved to Woburn. Fred taught Latin and French at a nearby public school
for six years before retiring in 2007 .
Fred still tutors students from nearby school systems, is on the Steering
Committee for the Summer Institute of the Classical. Association of New England,
will be its Director in 2012, and enjoys knitting.
Kiriti Mukherjee
Kiriti is a professional engineer and works as a software consultant in the areas of
Enterprise Resource Planning, Business Intelligence and database technologies.
He moved to Hammond Place from Cambridge in 2003, and has been a trustee
since 2005.
Kiriti feels strongly that a more cost-conscious approach can be applied while
maintaining the high level of service that Hammond Place enjoys - he is interested
in curbing maintenance fee increases. He also believes that the association
should be an "open government" with every resident having full access to the
board's decision making process. As such, he proposed the idea of the website.
Kiriti loves travelling, and has been known to take "long weekend" trips as far as
Japan. He also enjoys painting, hiking, skiing and spoiling his seven-month old
daughter.
Mary Bea Lingane
A transplant from Arlington, Mary Bea has lived at Hammond Place for 7 years
now. She feels deeply fortunate to have found a community as neighborly as this
one. She currently works as an academic administrator at Northeastern University,
but her professional background also includes teaching at the elementary level.
Mary Bea enjoys opera, theatre and classical music. For added fun, she is
working on a Ph.D. in law, policy and society in her spare time! She is very excited
about the energy and enthusiasm of the current board in its commitment to
preserving and enhancing our investments, our sense of community, and our
quality of life at Hammond Place.
Cynthia Bartlett
Cindy Bartlett has lived at Hammond Place since 1996 moving here from living in
Medford for 12 years. She appreciates the location of Hammond Place inside
Route 128, its proximity to shopping areas, the architecture, the variety of unit
designs/layouts, and especially her neighbors throughout the development.
During her short time at Hammond Place, Cindy has enjoyed many other positive
aspects of being part of this community including ongoing efforts to upgrade the
property, careful financial management, the responsiveness of the management
company.
Her professional experience includes 15 years as a practicing speech-language
pathologist working with adults who have acquired brain damage and
subsequently 22 years in academia teaching in the area of acquired neurological
disorders. As a Hammond Place Trustee, Cindy is committed to collaborating
with hard-working board members and cooperating with the community at large to
continue the sound financial management, and to continue to upgrade both the
aesthetics and the structural integrity of our homes.
In her spare time, Cindy enjoys the Hammond Place Book Club, Newsletter and
Landscape Committees as well as gardening in the summer and taking
advantage of the many cultural activities that New England has to offer.
Linda Axon has lived at Hammond Place since 2006, prior to that she had made
her home in Winchester for 25 years. Linda had watched Hammond Place being
built and had always wanted to live here. The opportunity presented itself when it
was time to downsize.
Linda had always been involved in town and school activities in Winchester so it
made sense that she would want to participate here.
Linda has a degree in nursing as well as formal training in computers. She has
also worked as a realtor and managed major home renovations. She has two
children. Her daughter, Krissy, lives here at Hammond Place and her son Eric
lives in Boston. Her many hobbies include golf, exercise, travel, animals, reading,
beaching, decorating and spending lots of time with her many friends. She has
family and friends in Connecticut and Rhode Island and often visits, especially in
the summer for their beaches.
Linda believes she has made the perfect decision to move to Hammond Place as
she enjoys the friendship of her many neighbors.
